Keyboard Tester
Check whether keys register in the browser. Planned: live key highlighting from real key presses.
Test NowBrowser-based diagnostics
Free browser-based tools to test your keyboard, microphone, headphones, GPU, CPU, RAM and game controller.
Start TestingEach tool will run in your browser. Pages marked coming soon are placeholders — they do not run a test yet.
Check whether keys register in the browser. Planned: live key highlighting from real key presses.
Test NowCheck your microphone with a live input meter after you allow browser permission. Audio stays on your device.
Test NowPlay left/right channel checks and tones through your speakers or headphones using the Web Audio API.
Test NowBrowser graphics checks using WebGL or WebGPU. This is not a driver diagnostic or temperature sensor readout.
Test NowBrowser-based processor performance checks. Browsers cannot read CPU temperature or full hardware sensors.
Test NowLimited browser memory checks. This cannot scan physical RAM modules the way dedicated desktop software can.
Test NowSee connected controllers and live button input through the Gamepad API when your browser supports it.
Test NowTests use what the browser is allowed to access. We will never pretend a tool can see hardware details that the browser cannot provide.
Choose a tool from the homepage or the Tools menu. Each tester is a separate page so it can be built and updated on its own.
Microphone access needs your approval. If you deny permission, the tool will explain that and will not claim a successful test.
Interact with the tool in your browser — for example by pressing keys, speaking, or connecting a controller.
Results stay in the browser session. We will label actual hardware input, browser-reported data, and benchmarks separately.
A straightforward place to check common devices without installing diagnostic software.
The tools on this site are free to use. No paid download is required to open a test.
You use the pages in Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. There is no desktop installer from us.
Tests rely on Web APIs. Support depends on the browser and device, and we will show that clearly.
The site is static HTML, CSS, and a small amount of JavaScript so pages can load quickly.
Hardware checks are designed to run locally. We do not upload microphone recordings or hardware reports to a server.
Layouts are built for phones and computers. Some tests, such as keyboard or gamepad, are more useful on desktop.
Browser hardware tests are useful, but they are not the same as professional diagnostic software.
A browser can observe things it is allowed to access: key presses, microphone input after permission, audio playback, WebGL/WebGPU graphics, JavaScript performance, limited memory behavior, and gamepad input. It generally cannot read CPU temperature, exact RAM module models, or low-level hardware errors.
No. These tools are for quick, in-browser checks. If you suspect failing hardware, use the manufacturer’s utilities or a trusted desktop diagnostic program.
No. Open the site in a current version of Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. Some features still depend on that browser supporting the required Web API.
No. Tests are designed to process input locally in your browser. We will not send microphone recordings or hardware information to a server unless a future feature truly requires it and you are told first.
Browsers block microphone access until you allow it. If you skip or deny permission, the microphone test cannot run a real check.
The website is mobile-friendly. Microphone and headphone checks can be useful on phones. Keyboard and gamepad testers are more useful on devices with those peripherals attached.
The homepage and site structure are live. Individual testers are being built next and currently show an honest “coming soon” page instead of fake results.
